But the good news is that the Westland City Council just approved the construction of the remaining 44 homes in Marlee Woods. If you want to be part of the newest neighborhood in Westland, this is your chance! Builders are now accepting orders for custom homes from award-winning designers.

Buyers can select amenities like granite countertops, a walk-in pantry, drop zone, luxurious master suites, oversized bedrooms, and tall ceilings. Marlee Woods is located north of Ford Road and is close to shopping and convenient for commuters. Floor plans vary, offering between 1,385 - 2,752 sq. ft of space. There are also plans to fix streetlights, install sidewalks, and improve stormwater drainage to the neighborhood. The HOA has also been reinstated to ensure order as the community grows.

Carillon Village - Average home price: $159,900

Carillon Village is a quiet neighborhood made up of standard small to mid-sized single-family homes. 93% of the homes in this neighborhood are owner-occupied. It is located to between Cherry Hill Road and S John Hix Road. Buyers can find well-maintained family homes like a ranch with brick siding with modern upgrades inside. People in this neighborhood care for their homes, and pride of ownership shows. Carillon Village is close to local shopping, restaurants, and expressways.
