1. Converse Heights - Average Home Price: $250,000

Converse Heights is known as one of the most desirable places to live in Spartanburg. Located in downtown Spartanburg, this neighborhood has attractive and spacious single-family homes that are packed with modern amenities like hardwood floors and large living rooms. Homes in this neighborhood are a walking distance from Pine Street Elementary, which makes it an excellent place to live for young families. Depending on the home you select, you can get even more desirable features like granite countertops and renovated interiors.

2. Fernwood - Average Home Price: $300,000

This well-established neighborhood has a lot of history. Known to be one of the earliest modern suburbs of the city, classic 1950s and 1960s era homes are integrated with modern buildings around the neighborhood. There is a delightful blend of contemporary homes and brick ranch homes that were iconic in the mid 20th century. Therefore, homebuyers will see large fluctuations in pricing.

The Grain District is located between the borders of West Henry Street, St. John Street, and Spring street.
