Your Go-To Housing — On Campus

Since most ROTC enrollees are rising seniors and college students, few have spouses or kids to care for. This means that on-campus housing is king. Members of the Air Force ROTC can enjoy college life just like ordinary students by living on campus, with the additional benefit of being in a tight-knit sub-community of individuals in the ROTC.

To get plugged into a dormitory, students must contact the University of Michigan’s Student Life. You can visit the University of Michigan website or call the office directly at (734) 763-3164 during regular business hours. They will tell you about the wide selection of Michigan Housing residence halls that include rec areas, special events, and learning programs. On-campus students also get to enjoy award-winning Michigan Dining that’s available at over 20 different sites across campus. And, whether you live off or on campus, University Unions serve as the "living rooms" where students can study, eat, work, chat, and relax.

Every year, on-campus housing serves nearly 11,000 students. There are currently 18 residence halls and 1,480 apartment units on campus that accommodate the lifestyles of undergrads, graduate students, and even students with families. To find out which residence type works for you, simply contact Student Life and ask away.
