Cambridge Commons: If you love to be surrounded by nature, then this housing option is for you. This on-campus building is LEED Gold Certified and houses around 700 students. It’s on the cutting edge of eco-friendly construction as it has two green roofs and a green recreation area. Residents also have convenient access to the Milwaukee River.

Kenilworth Square Apartments: The apartment lifestyle calls you at Kenilworth Square, where around 330 students live in 1-3 bedroom apartments. If you need to stay for a limited time, Kenilworth does reserve around 20 apartments for short-term guests. Each unit has a sitting area and a full kitchen. The floor plans differ depending on whether you choose standard or upgraded units. For instance, some apartments may have 14-foot ceilings and in-unit laundry.

Purin Hall: This on-campus housing unit hosts a small, close-knit community of mainly returning students. Around 50 residents live and learn in this apartment building that was converted into official university housing in the 1970s.

RiverView Residence Hall: Located in one of the most desirable Milwaukee neighborhoods, RiverView offers students a mix of city and campus living. Students can access plenty of city amenities like a grocery store across the street, the movies, bowling, restaurants, rock-climbing, and much more all within walking distance. It’s also convenient to travel by public transit or rent a Bublr Bike to get to any destination quickly.

Sandburg Residence Hall: Sandburg Hall offers a wide selection of traditional-style dormitories. Several floor plans consist of suites that can house students in single to triple-occupancy rooms. If you choose a dorm with a suite, then you will share a bathroom with your suite mates. Residents get peace of mind with added security, as their room key grants access to just their suite hallway.

Off-Campus housing

Residents have access to smoke-free rooms, on-site parking, and high-speed internet. Spayed and neutered cats are also allowed with a $250 deposit and a $25 monthly fee added to the monthly rent.

The Eastsider

The Eastsider offers luxury apartments in contemporary floor plans. Residents can choose among a studio, 1 and 2 bedroom options. The Eastsider is known for its high-end finishes, great location, and modern design. You’ll be within walking distance of many vital amenities like shopping, restaurants, and groceries. Within the apartment itself, residents can access a complimentary common area and gym. The apartments are also a short walk to the university, exciting North Avenue, or a quiet day at the lakefront. Short and long-term leases are available.

Milwood Apartments

Milwood Apartments is located near the university, offering studio, one and two-bedroom apartments. Students can get a taste of the city life while not being too far from everything that happens on campus. The monthly rent includes heat, hot water, and appliances, such as a stove, dishwasher, and refrigerator. There is also an on-site coin laundry and storage lockers on the premises. Milwood Apartments is close to public transit stops that make it easy to access the UWM campus without driving a car. Residents have a choice of 1 or 2 bedroom floor plans which are reasonably priced.

Casanova Apartments

Casanova Apartments is hailed as one of "Milwaukee’s best-kept lakefront secrets". This fun and posh community contains studio, 1 and 2 bedroom units. It’s just 3 blocks from Atwater beach, so it’s possible to get some of the best morning beach jogs ever when you live here. The rent includes heat and cooking gas. Residents don’t need to take their car to run errands since they live within walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores, and shops. Laundry and storage are also on-site. Ask the community about renting a furnished unit for added convenience. Spayed and neutered cats are allowed with a one-time deposit.
