Music: Every April, there is the popular Hayneville Jamfest that features musicians performing in a variety of styles. People come to the Jamfest from across the country. A thriving local music scene is supported by the two local music stores of Warner Robins Music and Music Masters. Take music lessons or hang out with the locals and learn what is happening.
Nature: The perfect place for a bike ride or hike is on the Wellston Trail. It is one mile long and paved, so it is superb for jogging. There is a playground, a pool for the kids, picnic tables, and exercise equipment. Walker's Pond has nice fishing spots and plenty of shade to escape the hot sun. Ada Lee Park has many tall trees.
Museums: The Museum of Aviation is by far the biggest attraction in town. Be sure to visit the Century of Flight Hanger to learn how it all started. The Museum of Arts and Sciences has a planetarium. The Allman Brothers Band is from this area, and there is a museum about them called The Big House. The Tubman African Museum is a must-see, and the Hay House is a nicely preserved antebellum-style home.
