Hobe Sound is a great place to live if you enjoy a quiet coastal lifestyle. The sleepy town is next to the crystal blue ocean and sandy beaches that Florida is famous for while still being close to larger cities in Central and South Florida.

Fun Fact: In the 1920s land developers wanted to transform Hobe Sound into the perfect backdrop for filming Hollywood movies. Damage from the 1928 Okeechobee hurricane forced builders to abandon the project, but the street sign names can still be seen today.
